  5.   WorkBone is covered under the provisions of the GNU GPL. While you
  6.   may incorporate routines from WorkBone into your own projects,
  7.   please DO NOT release your creation under the WorkBone name.
  8.   Unfortunately, some individuals have released unapproved hacks using
  9.   the WorkBone name.  These uncoordinated hacks have caused headaches
  10.   and confusion for the author, contributors, and end users of the
  11.   legitimate WorkBone. If you wish to contribute to official WorkBone
  12.   development, feel free to send your comments, suggestions, or patches
  13.   for possible inclusion into the official release.

  15.   WorkBone is an interactive TEXT-MODE control panel for playing audio
  16.   CDs under Linux. It is text-mode interface to the module
  17.   "hardware.c" from the elaborate X11 CD program known as WorkMan.
  18.   WorkBone is intended as a simple interactive tool for navigating
  19.   audio CDs under text-mode Linux. WorkBone intentionally does not
  20.   incorporate extraneous features of WorkMan.  In fact, WorkBone is
  21.   designed for those individuals who just wish to play music simply
  22.   and with minimal fuss, and without the bloat of excessive features.

  24.   WorkBone uses the numeric keypad as a control panel to allow you
  25.   to move track to track, play, stop, pause, and resume playing of
  26.   audio CDs. Additionally, the running times are continuously updated
  27.   and displayed. Make sure you have your NUM LOCK engaged when using
  28.   WorkBone. A template is displayed to guide you, and pushing the
  29.   DEL key on the numeric pad will bring up a help screen.

  31.   Note that WorkBone works with most CD Rom drives. However some
  32.   NEC drives use non-standard proprietary audio commands, and 
  33.   WorkBone will not function with these non-standard drives.
